I love the monochrome screen over the pea-DMG screen, the size is awesome (about sameslightly smaller than a color, smaller than the DMG brick.), yellow looks AMAZING on it (although id rather the trans or trans green;) ) Honestly its my favorite of all 3.

NO pea green blurry refresh of the original, or the weight and battery total for use is larger.

The pocket has a nice black and white screen but it still blurs just not as bad, but it isnt a battery chewer and not pea green either.

The GBC can simulate both the older systems through its built in custom colors, it doesnt blur like mad either.

And of course the color aspect of it including the built in codes for dozens of old bw games and the unique to it color titles too.

Each model was an improvement over the last when it came to these 3.

Color has the best screen and feels the most comfortable to hold, it was the ideal Gameboy.

I really like the curve on the back, it adds to the comfortability.

First Gameboy ever was a pocket, which was awesome when my hands were smaller level 1 1 point 4 years ago I beat the Elite Four on Pokemon Yellow on my scuffed up, crappy, black Gameboy Pocket.

I love that Pocket.

Ive been playing the color Zelda titles on an Atomic Purple Gameboy Color on and off for ages.

Lately Ive been totally hooked on Pokemon TCG which Im playing on an original grey style DMG with a bivert-backlight mod.

If I had to choose just one model I suppose it would have to be the Color because it supports all the games.

Of course I have a bunch of emulators for my PSP and it supports all the games for Gameboy and Gameboy Color and a bunch of other classic platforms, PSP games, plays videos, etc.

I do stick with my modded DMG though, I get this feeling of nostalgia and happiness when I hold it.love.

DMG, i like that its the original, its hefty, and that it is pretty large.

GBC, the only positive to me is color, i dont like that the screen is microscopic, the battery section is like butt, and the buttons just dont feel right to me GB Pocket, i like that the screen is large, its perfect sized for your pocket (hence the name), only takes 2 AAA batteries.

I always choose my back lit GB Pocket to play, but thats just my 2 cents.

So if I have the option, I wanna see colors But it could also just be my nostalgia kicking in.

I always have the color in my backpack because the batteries are just so long lasting it can sit there for months without use.

The Pockets LCD screen lacks acceptable contrast stability until you do at least a Li-Ion rechargeable battery mod install, which brings us to the Color, which already has a stable screen contrast, displays colors, features backwards compatibility for an immense library of games, improved battery life from the standard pocket and, and, other stuff.

Once properly front-lit, the Color is the better of the three.
